Anonymous about ACTA for Deaf People (ASL video)
Hello everyone,
here is very important thing.
At the moment, the almost entire world lives about ACTA, SOPA and PIPA. But ACTA is the most noticeable thing we’re seeing around.
If some countries pass this pact – your Internet will be very restricted. Your Internet supplier will be have right to keep under surveillance everything what you do in your laptop/PC/mobile phone. Total control !!
The Anonymous Man is telling very interesting stuffs, about Illuminati and New World Order.
Say NO to ACTA. Say NO to CONTROL YOURSELF.
You have right to think what you want. You have right to life like you want.
Just YOU, not your government.
Deaf woman hesistates between Islamic and Catholic religion
Deaf people know each other all over the world – we are so different !! Mix of cultures and religious.
What if you fall in love with someone who isn’t in the same faith like yours? What if you are Catholic and your boyfriend is Muslim? And you do love him so much? Are you eager and ready to convert from your religion to his?
Why not think about it and find out what other people do in this case?
This story I attached below is about deaf English woman, who met Muslim boyfriend. But she is atheist and she wanna try which religion is good for her.
Video has two parts.
Deaf Emergency in Haiti
Some time had passed since the earthquake in Haiti. Recently I came across the page www.ideafe.org and the movie, which tells the story of deaf volunteers who help their deaf friends after the disaster on the island.
More words are not needed. Just watch the film.
Except it you`re a volunteer and help others? If so - please write to what organization you belong and where you are helping.
Business with sign language? Why not?!
Do u know what is Signfuse? If not, read below some information from website www.signfuse.com:
“Signfuse is an expert in integrating sign languages in new media. We merge our knowledge of sign languages and deaf culture with technological innovations. This way we create multimedia applications with sign language on your website, in your film production, during your event, for iPhones etc”
It`s totally awesome idea, right? What do u think about it?
Deaf and dumb polish girl happy married Pakistani man
Pakistani newspapers widely wrote about deaf wedding. Polish girl married Pakistani 24 years old men, but why everywhere this polish woman is called also dumb? Seriously? She is deaf not dumb!!!
Anyway, my congratulation to Hamna and Jibran!
Wedding was held in Hyderabad on 31st December, 2011 which was attended by close relatives, friends and large number of media. The couple met on the internet two years ago and liked each other and decided to marry.
The polish girl converted her religion into Islam before marriage and her name was changed from Anna to Hamna.
While talking to media through mediator the couple said that they are very happy and this day is very big for their life.
Gay, lesbian, bi or trans? Do you accept them?
Strange people are around us. You don’t know what are they like. Blind? Gay? Deaf? Divorced? With a cancer? But you can be sure of one thing – they all need to love and be loved. Doesn’t matter who they love and by who…
Sexism is very similar to rape culture, is base of it.
This video starts with common myths and stereotypes about homosexuality and homophobia. And they mention that also deaf people have rights to love in their way.
Very educative…
Deaf in the military??? Seriously?
Deaf people can do everything, you all know that, right?
Keith Nolan has found his life way to serve in American Navy Army. But, in the past, there were too many obstacles like “You cannot join us, because you are DEAF”. He didn’t give up. Right now, he is Cadet Private and he’s waiting to pass 3rd level (medicine exam). He needs your help to change of Army policy that would get other deaf people join to Army.
During lecture he’s telling about other deaf soldiers, especially Deaf Israeli Soldiers – there are many of them !!! Anywhere in the world, just in Israel !!
You simply must watch it !
Deaf Space – what is this?
Hello there,
one of my friend sent me something interesting. Something new in our Deaf Culture. Something called “Deaf Space”.
This video was recorded in Spring 2010, but seriously, I never seen this concept.
Because, how come they put Architecture inside Deaf Culture?? What does it to have with Deaf people?
Oh, there are some phrases like Visual Language (round tables, group meets in circle, etc), which are very useful for hearing people, too!
Really?
Watch this video and find out how change of architecure could help in our everyday communication.
Do you want to feel the music? There is a way!
I wondered how it is to listen to the music. I am deaf since birth, so the more my curiosity was getting more and more. One day I found a page where skilled staff ensures the deaf people reception the music as much as the hearing can listen to music.
It is obviously that we can`t listen to the music, but we can feel one thanks to watching of the best possible visual representation of an artist’s work at the concert or festivals.
I want to recommend you their website here: http://www.lotusign.com/
Deaf people can do anything, except hear

Do u know that u can work as a a musician?
Do u know that u can work as a graphic?
Except them, you can work wherever you want, because…
…DEAF PEOPLE CAN DO ANYTHING, EXCEPT HEAR!!!
Why the native sign language is so important?
Yesterday I watched a video about acquiring a language by deaf child.
I would like that every parent will realize that there is only ONE language for the deaf child – sign language. And just sign language should be the first one, which deaf child will ‘see’ in its life. Never mind if you are hearing mother or hard hearing father – your deaf child with its own language will grow up properly without lost childchood.
In this video he tells about ASL, but instead of ASL there could be any sign language all over the world.
Sign language is the most important part of Deaf Culture. Please, don’t ruin it.
“The Signs in the Silence”
Last week, I watched a very exciting episode “The Signs in the Silence“ of series “Bones”, where a 15-year old girl, who is deaf and refuses to communicate, is considered herself potentially committed murder. She was found covered in blood and holding a knife….That sounds scary, right?
How do I know that it is worth to see? Oh, I hope that the clip from YT convince you that I`m right
2nd Hong Kong International Deaf Film Festival
What a interesting idea to go to Hong Kong in order to watch all movies about the Deaf Culture! Apart from it I would like to visit this beautfiul city and meet deaf friends from all over world. It would be a wonderful experience, isn`t?
“The Deaf Family” – small American sitcom
Here is a small sitcom about life of American Deaf family. And what’s more – it’s extremely funny!
There are so many daily situations so they never are bored of theirselves. The first two episodes made me big laugh, due to hidden sarcasm, the next ones are much placid and educative, but still worth to watch.
Lots of laughing !
